Introducing our Guest Artist for April 2021! Alicia Michele, perhaps better known as "Kidsister" hails from Pasadena California but since Covid hit has been newly transplanted to Washington state.
"I have had tremendous loss in a short span and have come through it with the help of my art," she states. "I started painting in November of 2019. I have always been an artist though. To me there are no rules in it. Just like music. It helps me explain things I have no words for."
A portion of sales from Alicia's shirts will go to her choice of charity, Birdhouse/Doghouse. Birdhouse/Doghouse is a nonprofit organization based in Southern California. Responsible for Tijuana, Mexico's first Catch-Care-Fix and Release program to help control the over population of street dogs, they also run a free school for the kids living in the slums of Tijuana.
Years ago, Alicia adopted one of the dogs from this organization and he is "simply beautiful in every way." As all good boys are.
